2. Booking and Payment

Clients can book a skip through our online platform or by contacting our customer service team. To secure a booking, a valid credit or debit card is required.

Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other specified methods.
Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless prior arrangements have been made.

3. Delivery and Collection

We strive to deliver and collect skips promptly. Delivery times are estimated and may vary based on location and availability.

Delivery: The skip will be delivered to the specified address within the agreed timeframe.
Collection: At the end of the hire period, we will collect the skip from the client's location.
Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as traffic or adverse weather conditions.

4. Usage Terms

The skip must be used in accordance with the following guidelines to ensure safety and compliance with local regulations.

Placement: The skip must be placed on stable, flat ground and should not obstruct public pathways or private property without permission.
Weight Limits: Each skip has a maximum weight capacity. Exceeding this limit may result in additional charges or refusal of service.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the skip is used appropriately and that all waste is disposed of legally.

Waste Segregation: Clients must separate recyclable materials from general waste where applicable.
Permits: It is the client's responsibility to obtain any necessary permits for skip placement on public property.
Access: Clients must ensure that the delivery and collection sites are accessible to our drivers.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both the client and the provider.

Cancellations: Clients may cancel their booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery without incurring a fee.
Refunds: Refunds will be processed for cancellations made within the allowed timeframe. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery may incur a cancellation fee.
No-Shows: Failure to collect the skip after the hire period may result in additional charges.

7. Liability

While we strive to provide excellent service, there are circumstances beyond our control.

Damage: Westminster Skip Hire is not liable for any damage to property caused by the placement or removal of the skip, except where due to our negligence.

Provider Insurance: Our insurance does not cover personal belongings removed by clients once the skip is collected.

9. Prohibited Use

Skip hire services must not be used for illegal activities or the disposal of prohibited items.

Illegal Activities: Any use of the skip for unlawful purposes is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of services.
Prohibited Items: As outlined in section 4, certain items cannot be disposed of in the skip. Violation of this policy may result in additional charges and reporting to relevant authorities.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
